Special Olympian: Prisoner of Love
Jaw set as she hugs her Special Olympics star who rightfully bears the title, Prisoner of Love. The embrace was so strong, her enveloping security so complete...and when the sound of the shutter caught her attention, she looked over with a clear indication of her protectiveness...one that a man could likely not recreate. I realized that I had witnessed a scene that I was not welcome in. I got off one shot, and in that encountered motherhood.
